The competition was held at Sunbar on Sunday, with 24 DJs (12 b2b sets) battling it out for the mainstage opening slot.
The judges for this competition were rising riddim artist and Phoenix local Ophion, RB Festivals Marketing Manager Jacqueline Paat, and Voice of the Crowd Carlos Briseño Garcia.
Luko and SVILIAN were announced as the winning mainstage DJs on Monday, with CLUB ANTSY and DEVOL having clinched the second place spot, joining and completing the HEX lineup alongside heavy hitters Excision and Subtronics.
This festival is not short of riddim DJs either, as Badklaat, Decimate, Hurtbox, Izzy Vadim, Inaktiv, Onara and XaeboR are coming to the Valley for Halloween.
