Longstanding duo Zeds Dead are returning to the Valley for their most ambitious headlining show to date.
Their 15-year career, which exploded from their iconic remix of Blue Foundation’s Eyes On Fire in 2009, brings them to the Mesa Amphitheatre with the Journey of a Lifetime tour.
The tour’s name also harkens back to a track of the same name; one of the first the duo uploaded to the Internet as Zeds Dead back in 2009.
“We might not have realized it at the time, but we were in fact blasting off into space and leaving behind life as we knew it,” the duo said in an interview with Relentless Beats.
Since then, DC and Hooks launched their record label Deadbeats, which turns ten this year, and headlined the iconic Red Rocks venue 12 times, each time as a sold out DeadRocks show.
“This journey is your journey with us as well. We’ve grown up together and celebrated life. We’ve created a world together, and the Journey of a Lifetime tour aims to be our most thorough exploration of it.”
They are also bringing along breakthrough artist IMANU and bass music veteran trio Ivy Lab as they prepare to close the project on their Farewell tour on Friday and Saturday respectively.
“We’ll be taking some time off in 2027, so we’re going all out on production, new music, and stage design to bring you a new show that will take you on a magical journey. A journey of a lifetime. See you there.”
